Tone & Probe Kit
Armada Technologies
Pro220K Advanced Tone and Probe Kit Cutting edge technology including probe headlight, AC noise rejection, Bed of nails and metal/plastic tip, AA batteries.   The Pro220K Advanced Tone and Probe kit is designed to help contractors easily identify the termination point of any wire. The Pro220K Advanced Tone and Probe Kit pinpoints where a particular wire or cable terminates at the far end of the cable.   How does the Pro220K Advanced Tone and Probe kit work? • The tone generator Model Pro110 is connected to a wire at one end using the attached alligator clips or RJ11 plug and activated. • The tone probe Model Pro210F Advanced Tone Probe is then taken to the other end of the wire, activated and used to locate the “beep-beep-beep” signal of the Pro110. • The wire making the loudest signal is the one connected to the tone generator, and therefore that particular wire's termination point is identified.   Specifications Model Pro110 Tone Generator • Sends 1 Khz Tracing Tone • Uses 4 AA batteries for 250+ Hours of Operation • Audible Continuity Buzzer for Short Detection Model Pro210F Advanced Tone Probe • AC Rejection or Broadband Modes • LED Headlight • Volume Control • 4 AA Batteries for 250+ Hours of Operation • Headset Jack • Metal/Plastic Tip

Cable Fault Finder (TS90)
Fluke / Harris
TS90 Cable Fault Finder Fluke TDR cable fault finder. Measures distance to fault up to 2,500 feet away.    • Instantly measures distance to open or any fault from one end of any cable pair • Patented SmartTone® tone generator positively identifies pair • Measures cable distance on spool • Measures constantly while 'on' • Displays distance reading rather than waveform • Large LED screen • High voltage detection • Moisture proof • One-button operation   This easy-to-use, competitively priced tester is three tools in one—a fault locator, a cable and wire manager and a tone generator with SmartTone technology. From just ONE END of any two or more conductor cable you can measure up to 2,500 feet (762 meters). Easily find the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire, telephone wire, security wire and coax. Results appear as a distance reading rather than a waveform, so it's perfect for technicians unfamiliar with Time Domain Reflectometery (TDR). Find and fix cable problems without pulling new wire or blindly cutting into walls. Intermittent faults are easier to find because the unit constantly measures while "On." It's perfect for inventory management of cable stock in trucks and warehouses and it can help you generate more accurate bids for jobs by quickly assessing needs and managing the cable stock with greater accuracy. Patented SmartTone technology gives you five distinct tones to use for exact wire and pair identification, even in proximity to current-bearing cable. When touching the wires together and momentarily shorting the far end of a cable pair, the SmartTone technology will change the cadence of the tone generated.  This tone change you hear through a probe positively verifies the correct wire pair. Voltage detection in the unit will immediately sound an alarm if you accidentally clip onto an energized pair, up to 250VAC.
• Two Direct Connection Frequencies (2 kHz, 33 kHz). • Wireless Inductive Clamp or Antenna Modes. • Passive 50/60Hz AC Tracking. • Selectable Null or Peak Tracking Modes. • Audible (Speaker or Headset) or Visual Meter. • Low Battery LED. • Custom Steel Spine Carrying Case.   The Pro871C Underground Cable Locator is a full featured, low cost underground locator for contractors and maintenance personnel.  Incorporating three different locating frequencies, the Pro871C tracks metallic cabling, including CATV, electrical, telephone, sprinkler, and lighting.  The Pro871C transmits an intermittent signal down cables that is easy to follow.  Underground cables up to 8 feet deep and 4000 feet long can be tracked with the Pro871C. Inductive locating is easy with the Pro871C, using either the IC3 inductive clamp or the built-in inductive antenna.  Inductive locating eliminates the ned to shut power down or disconnect services. The Pro871C incorporates a 50/60Hz passive locating mode, which identifies electrical sources (power cables) and tracks them without using a transmitter of any kind.  Contractors can identify the path of 50/60 Hz underground cables without disconnecting them or connecting the Pro871C.
